What’s a common misconception people have about happiness?
I think many of us err in forgetting there are 2 different kinds of happiness: hedonia and eudaimonia.
Simply, hedonia is derived from pleasure in moments and eudaimonia is derived from meaning and purpose.
Yes, money can buy happiness, but the hedonia kind; and finding purpose in life, that’s eudaimonia. I think the misconceptoin is when we put both in the same box.
What kind of happy are you?
